Words with Straightforward Synonyms

assert (verb)
Synonyms: claim, contend
"Assert" is state forcefully. "Claim" is declare as true. "Contend" often used in arguments or debates.
assigned (adjective)
Synonyms: specified, designated, appointed
"Assigned" means formally given. "Specified" is precisely identified. "Designated" is officially selected. "Appointed" often for roles/positions.
attack (verb)

"Attack" is aggressive action. "Assault" is more formal/legal term. "Hit" is physical contact, more casual.
attain (verb)
Synonyms: accomplish, earn
